Achieving a good state of wellbeing is what we strive to achieve in all of our projects, whether they focus on physical health, psychosocial support or disease prevention. Our projects are not successful if they do not promote wellbeing and mental health. Hence, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) integration is central to all our projects and projects development.
Advocating for aid efforts to be locally led, enabling communities to be the drivers behind programmes. HealthNet TPO remains committed to the need for increased localisation and participation of affected communities within its programmes, always exploring pathways for increased localisation while acknowledging the continued disparities inherent in financial mechanisms.
The triple nexus refers to a framework that intertwines humanitarian aid, development, and peacebuilding efforts, recognising their interconnectedness in addressing crises. HealthNet TPO constantly research synergies and collaboration with various actors and sectors working along the triple nexus, aiming to make it more central within its projects in the future.
