Nicola Villa brings three decades of experience at the intersection of digital innovation, sustainability and public-private partnerships. He has held senior roles at global technology companies including Cisco, IBM and Mastercard, working with governments, multilateral institutions and the private sector on digital transformation, smart cities, financial inclusion and emerging technologies.
Throughout his career, Nicola has developed and led international partnerships designed to address complex public-sector challenges. At Cisco, he worked with governments around the world to advance national digital agendas, while at IBM he led global work on smarter cities and European programmes focused on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. At Mastercard, he worked on strategic growth and financial inclusion and led technology partnerships with public-sector and multilateral organisations.
Nicola is also the founder of P4, an initiative focused on strengthening partnerships between the European technology and government sectors.
