Dr. Désiré Sakubu

Désiré Sakubu is a medical doctor, expertise in HIV and PFB  with a master’s degree in public health (health systems management) and 20 years of experience in the field. He has been with HealthNet TPO for the past 18 years and has served as international consultant at Djibouti, head of mission in Mauritania , national consultant at UNDP Burundi others organizations/NGO. He is serving as   the Country Director for Burundi since January 2025 . He also  is a member of various technical working groups in public health.
