After the earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, thousands of women and girls are living in tents and makeshift shelters without privacy, toilets, or access to hygiene supplies. This puts them at greater risk of infection, harassment, and distress, making an already devastating situation even harder to endure.

HealthNet TPO is responding with dignity kits — packages containing essentials such as soap, towels, menstrual pads, underwear, a scarf, and a solar torch. These items help women and girls stay clean, manage menstruation safely, and regain a sense of safety and self-respect.
