In Afghanistan, malaria remains a significant health concern, with almost half a million cases reported every year. Despite challenges such as limited access to treatment and the impact of climate change, HealthNet TPO has been running its Malaria Control Programme for nearly thirty years. Our efforts have led to a remarkable reduction of both primary types of malaria by 97% and 88%, respectively, as of 2021.
